Who is Metrica?
Metrica is the manufacturer of Telefix products. Based in a village called Danta in Italy, Metrica began operations in 1949. Within six years a new production site was needed to allow them to produce more products including thickness gauges, squares, levels, bore and dial gauges. Following the opening of its business office in Milan in 1964, Metrica was able to offer its products to countries overseas.
Over the years it has registered many patents for new products. The products have continually made work easier, faster and more accurate particularly in the construction and mechanical fields.
Metrica is known worldwide for its Telefix telescopic poles and Quadranfix angle gauges for construction. GSR Laser Tools is part of the network of agents distributing Metrica products.
Telescopic Measuring Poles
The Metrica Telefix Measuring Pole is known as the most robust pole. Used for measuring the heights of buildings, awnings, doors and trees, Telefix have several models including 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10-metre pole heights with carry bags.
Two reading marks in the window make it possible for inside or outside measurements, to suit all your requirements. The base has a patented waterproof sheath. The poles automatically lock even when fully extended using inox internal springs. There is a horizontal and vertical vial for correct positioning while measuring.
Accessories for the Telefix Measuring Pole include the Diagonal Wedge Adaptors which attach to the top and bottom of the pole for taking diagonal measurements across doorways and windows frames.
The Pole End Tip Adaptors screw on to the top and bottom of the pole and are used for measuring cracks and grooves.
The Laser Detector Adaptor bolts into place at the top of the laser measuring pole.

Telefix Vehicle Height Measuring Poles
Whether it’s a road train carrying goods or a car transporter, the Telefix Vehicle Height Measuring Poles are used for checking the height of some of the tallest trucks on our roads. There are three models to choose from – 5, 6 and 8 metres with a crossbar arm of 70 cm. A 10-metre pole is also available on request.
