Trip Meters
A trip meter can be reset at any point in a journey, making it possible to record the distance travelled in any particular journey or part of a journey.
They can be used to record the distance travelled on each tank of fuel, to track energy efficiency.
A trip meter can also be re-set to zero at each turn in a navigation sequence of driving directions, to monitor and confirm your progress.
